ABOUT THIS BLOG

This is the first tool of its kind. It list investigators in the JFK assassination along with a photo or/and a film showing them. This page will be updated as new information is found.

Thanks to all my friends who helped me on this: Linda Giovanna Zambanini, Steve Roe, Chris Simondet, Fred James, and many others. Special thanks to Robin Unger for his great online JFK assassination photo collection.

Helped with the investigation on the 6th floor of the Depository. Later on, he met FBI agent James Hosty who told him that a communist, Oswald, had killed Kennedy, and that he knew Oswald was capable of doing it.

Revill

Mr. DODD. You said, and I will quote, you said in 1964, I will quote your response to Mr. Rankin, just so you can refresh your memory and you can correct it if you would like, this is your testimony: “And. Mr. Hosty ran over to me and he says, Jack, as I recall these words, a Communist killed President Kennedy.
“I said, What?
“He said, Lee Oswald killed President Kennedy.
“I said, Who is Lee Oswald?
“He said, He is in our Communist file. We knew he was here in Dallas.
“At that time Hosty and I started walking off, and Detective Bryan as well as I recall, sort of stayed back and so forth.”
Then he also states to you that at that time, according to your testimony in 1964, that they knew, that he knew, Jim Hosty knew, that Lee Oswald was capable of killing the President. You became upset at that?
Mr. REVILL. Yes, sir.
Mr. DODD. Is that a fair—
Mr. REVILL. That is a fair”-

Ran towards the railroad tracks with Deputy Sheriff Harry Weatherford, but did not make it to the railroad tracks.

“Shortly after, a DPD officer brought a boy in a sport coat up and said “here is the man that had done the shooting”. As officers started to question him, the crowd began to talk and pass the word around that this was the individual that had shot the President. At that time, in the company of the city officers, I sent 2 deputy sheriff’s to take this man into custody and to take him to the Sheriff’s office. Also Inspector Sawyer was informed of this and he sent a DPD detective to the Sheriff’s office to talk to the boy.”

At this time Sheriff Bill Decker arrived at the location where I was standing and I informed him as to what had been done up to that time.”
