This is the first tool of its kind. It lists investigators in the JFK assassination along with a photo or/and a film showing them. This page will be updated as new information is found.

- Stated on TV the day before the assassination that he did not think there would be any danger to the president
- Helped prepare the motorcade.

Mr. Hosty ran over to me and he says, Jack, as I recall these words, a Communist killed President Kennedy.

“I said, Who is Lee Oswald?
“He said, He is in our Communist file. We knew he was here in Dallas.
“At that time Hosty and I started walking off, and Detective Bryan as well as I recall, sort of stayed back and so forth.”
Then he also states to you that at that time, according to your testimony in 1964, that they knew, that he knew, Jim Hosty knew, that Lee Oswald was capable of killing the President. You became upset at that?

“After searching this area for about ten minutes and not finding any evidence, I went to a tower that overlooks the railroad yards and also has a vantage point over the area around the school book building. I talked to an employee there and he gave me the description of two automobiles that he had seen in the area just a few minutes earlier.”
“After I had brought several people to the office I went to TV Station WFAA and got two witnesses who had been taken there by some reporter.”

I talked to a city officer who said, ‘I was stationed in rail yards and had this entire area in view. Nobody came this way.'” He told author Larry Sneed that the officer had been standing there for more than an hour.

- Seen working for security during Ruby’s trial

Ran towards the railroad tracks with Deputy Sheriff Harry Weatherford, but did not make it to the railroad tracks.
“Shortly after, a DPD officer brought a boy in a sport coat up and said “here is the man that had done the shooting”. As officers started to question him, the crowd began to talk and pass the word around that this was the individual that had shot the President. At that time, in the company of the city officers, I sent 2 deputy sheriff’s to take this man into custody and to take him to the Sheriff’s office. Also Inspector Sawyer was informed of this and he sent a DPD detective to the Sheriff’s office to talk to the boy.”
At this time Sheriff Bill Decker arrived at the location where I was standing and I informed him as to what had been done up to that time.”

- Went in the Depository through a window on the 2nd floor of the West side

- Falsely accused of being on a roof of a bulding overlooking Dealey Plaza. Deputy Sheriff Eugene Boone told me that Weatherford was beside him during the shooting.
